The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a right and a left that Griffin avoids nicely.
Jackson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Griffin misses with a low kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Griffin.
Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No joy there for Jackson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A left and a right from Jackson both land. Nice combination.
Shawn Griffin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Griffin tries to clinch
and Jackson counters with a one-two to the body.

It looks like Shawn Griffin has been cut.
Left hook, right uppercut from Jackson.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jackson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Griffin.
Griffin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jackson. That did some damage!

And Jackson tries to counter it with a takedown but Griffin pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Jackson arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Griffin's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
