Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tristan Barolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Fraser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tristan Barolo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Fraser! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barolo stuffs the takedown attempt from Fraser. Fraser gets slowly back to his feet. Barolo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Barolo darts in looking for a takedown but Fraser gets double underhooks and turns Barolo into the cage. Fraser shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barolo pinned against the cage. Barolo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Fraser scores with the left hand. Barolo knows he should have avoided that one. Fraser shoots in but Barolo avoids the takedown attempt easily. Tristan Barolo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Fraser. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barolo throws a right and a left that Fraser avoids nicely. Barolo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Fraser stuffs the takedown attempt from Barolo. Barolo gets slowly back to his feet. Barolo is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fraser fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Barolo to the ground. Fraser is now in Barolo's guard. Fraser is pushing down on Barolo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Barolo is fighting to maintain full guard but Fraser has managed to sneak the leg through. Barolo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Barolo tries to get out of the position. Fraser missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Fraser stalling. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barolo wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fraser not landing any meaningful shots this time. Barolo wants to control but Fraser is keeping busy and won't allow it. Fraser is taking a breather. Barolo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Barolo is controlling Fraser's trapped leg to prevent Fraser from advancing to side control.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Barolo moves out of range of the body kick from Fraser.
Barolo is looking to counter punch. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fraser. Barolo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fraser shoots in for a takedown but Barolo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Barolo went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Fraser uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Barolo. Barolo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Fraser counters by clinching up. Barolo looking for a takedown. Barolo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Fraser closes the distance and clinches. Fraser successfully pulls guard.

Fraser controls Barolo momentarily but Barolo frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Fraser lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Barolo working a defensive guard but Fraser passes into half guard.

Fraser is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Barolo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fraser on the ground. Fraser has control of Barolo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Barolo regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fraser trying to control but Barolo is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Fraser dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Fraser dives in and grabs Barolo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Barolo pushes down on Fraser's head and hops out. Barolo walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Fraser checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Barolo with a lazy takedown attempt and Fraser counters by moving into the clinch. Fraser is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Barolo is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Fraser is defending well. Fraser jumps guard.

Barolo trying to control but Fraser is working from the bottom. Fraser has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fraser is trying to control the position but Barolo postures up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fraser holds on and takes a little breather.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barolo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fraser is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fraser has escaped and now he's on top! Barolo working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fraser. Barolo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fraser is one step ahead there. Fraser trying to control the position from guard on top but Barolo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fraser throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fraser stands up from Barolo's guard - Fraser perhaps looking for a knockout. Fraser moves into the clinch successfully.

Barolo is trying to force a seperation but Fraser has the dominant position. Fraser has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Barolo uses from the top position. Barolo trying to control the position from guard on top but Fraser is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fraser manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Barolo manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fraser stays in close to Barolo's body and controls the position. Barolo is trying to keep Fraser in close.
Fraser seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fraser throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Barolo looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Barolo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Fraser is pushing down on Barolo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Barolo is fighting to maintain full guard but Fraser has managed to sneak the leg through. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Fraser showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Fraser shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Barolo has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Fraser has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Barolo is trying to pull guard but Fraser turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Fraser blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Barolo is pressed up against the cage. Fraser has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Barolo down to the mat. Barolo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fraser is defended easily by Barolo. Tristan Barolo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Fraser. Barolo throws out a loose jab but Fraser uses good head movement to avoid it. Barolo moves out of range of the body kick from Fraser.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fraser shoots for a double leg takedown but Barolo sprawls well. He's pushed Fraser's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Barolo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fraser swats him away and circles back towards the center. Fraser steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Barolo. Barolo ducks right into an uppercut from Fraser. Barolo misses with the combination.
Fraser unleashes a big counter combination but Barolo bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. The fight moves into the clinch position. Fraser tries for a takedown. No joy.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Barolo is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barolo drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fraser is trying to push Barolo away but Barolo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Barolo tries to pull guard but Fraser won't allow it.
Fraser makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Barolo is trying to push Fraser away but Fraser has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Fraser manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fraser is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Barolo is defending well. Barolo wants a takedown.
Fraser lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Fraser wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Barolo has him pressed against the cage. Fraser stalling against the cage.

Fraser continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. Barolo jumps guard but Fraser stands there with Barolo around his waist. Barolo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fraser wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fraser shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Barolo counters with a lovely straight right hand! Chris Fraser is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Barolo misses with a wild combination.
Fraser tries to counter with a clinch but Barolo shakes him off and moves away.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Fraser comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Fraser winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
