Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dennis Nilsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Troy Kirkland!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Dean Styles and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nilsen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kirkland.
Kirkland throws a jab when Nilsen was well out of range.
Nilsen went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Troy Kirkland seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nilsen shoots in looking for a takedown. Kirkland tries to sprawl out of it but Nilsen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kirkland manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kirkland now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Nilsen throws a head kick but Kirkland moves out of range.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kirkland throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nilsen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
