Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Smokey Dashab!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dashab tries for a takedown but Flower circles away easily
and Flower counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Dashab has his hands on Flower's head, controlling the position.
Flower trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Flower postures up in Dashab's guard and throws a big left but Dashab blocks it.
Dashab avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Dashab wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Flower thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dashab is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dashab takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Flower is trying to get back to full guard.
Flower wants to control but Dashab is keeping busy.
Flower is looking for a sweep. Dashab is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Dashab wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dashab seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Dashab throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Flower's waist but Flower gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dashab off to one side.
Flower changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Flower has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Dashab is trying to keep an underhook but Flower manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Flower is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lillitan Flower dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Flower defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dashab.
Dashab tries to score a power double leg takedown but Flower sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dashab somewhat.
Dashab goes for a double leg but Flower avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Flower continues to drive forward.
Lillitan Flower has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Smokey Dashab.
Dashab changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Flower tries to avoid it but Dashab manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Flower to the ground. Flower escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Flower loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Flower is looking to work some ground and pound but Dashab has wrist control.
Flower trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Dashab utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Flower is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Flower drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dashab manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Flower has Dashab in his guard.
Flower is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dashab defends well.
Flower is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Dashab has his hands clasped together but Flower extends and breaks Dashab's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Flower.
