Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kev Wooten!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Iko Ruhian!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruhian jabs at Wooten's body.
Ruhian is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wooten.
Ruhian buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ruhian misses with a hook.
Wooten was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Iko Ruhian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ruhian lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ruhian.
Ruhian tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wooten was well out of range. Poor timing from Ruhian.
Ruhian throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ruhian lands a slapping body shot.
Ruhian scores with a hook to the body. Wooten takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ruhian throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Wooten to counter with a crisp jab.
Wooten looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ruhian swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ruhian fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wooten on the side of the head.
Ruhian tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ruhian misses with a body shot.
Ruhian missing with a left hand there. Wooten was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wooten seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Ruhian misses with a wild body shot.
Ruhian lands with a shot to the body.
Ruhian throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Wooten counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ruhian! Wooten lets Ruhian back up to his feet, looking for a finish!


Ruhian is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
BOOM! Wooten lands a beautiful left hook that drops Ruhian. Ruhian tries to recover but Wooten is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Ruhian lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kev Wooten!
