Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Santosh Nagasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nagasaki comes to the ring accompanied by Execute Plan Steel Tulip. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Santosh Nagasaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Liam Nelson! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A low kick from Nagasaki is predictable there and Nelson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Nagasaki throws a jab when Nelson was well out of range. Nelson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nagasaki moves away. Nagasaki is looking to counter punch. Nagasaki takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nelson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Nelson scores with a sloppy right hand. Nagasaki should have avoided that one. Nagasaki avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nagasaki was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nelson tries to clinch up but Nagasaki circles away and keeps his distance. Nagasaki throws a body kick that misses. Good standup being displayed there by Nelson as he connects with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nagasaki throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nagasaki looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Liam Nelson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Left hook, right uppercut from Nelson. Nagasaki misses with a leg kick and Nelson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Nelson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nelson misses with a straight left. Nelson throws a shot to the body.
Nagasaki swings away with a leg kick that misses. It seemed like Nelson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Nelson throws a jab when Nagasaki was well out of range. A counter left hand to the body from Nagasaki misses its target. Nelson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nelson scores with a nice right hand.

Nelson throws a body shot but no joy. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nelson thuds his right hand into Nagasaki's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Nelson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Nelson scores with a punch to the head. Nelson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nagasaki. Nagasaki steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nelson. Nagasaki gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Nagasaki bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nagasaki wants to control but Nelson is keeping him busy. Nelson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Nagasaki's best efforts. Nagasaki prevents Nelson from improving his position. Nagasaki thows a huge punch but Nelson dodges it nicely.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Nagasaki stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nagasaki thows a huge punch but Nelson dodges it nicely.
Nagasaki sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Nelson defending well though. Nagasaki prevents Nelson from improving his position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Nagasaki looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Nagasaki trying to control from Nelson's half guard. Nelson has other ideas though and has regained full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nelson is on top in guard.

That's five minutes gone in the round. Nagasaki keeping moving, preventing Nelson from controlling successfully. Nagasaki knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nelson on the ground. Nagasaki keeping full guard, as Nelson tries to pass. Nelson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Nelson trying to control the position from guard on top but Nagasaki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nelson looking to pass the guard.
That's six minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Nagasaki wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Nagasaki ducks under a wild hook from Nelson. Nagasaki throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nelson sees it coming and avoids it easily. It seemed like Nelson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Nagasaki takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Nagasaki shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nelson as he avoids it easily. Nagasaki throws a poor cross that misses
and Nelson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Nagasaki connects with a right hand. Nelson shakes it off. Nelson misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Nelson slaps away a takedown attempt from Nagasaki, before circling back to the center of the mat. Nelson throws a hook but Nagasaki blocks it. Nice shot lands for Nelson. A jab from Nagasaki misses. Nelson scores with a jab. Nagasaki acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Nelson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Nelson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Nagasaki. Nelson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Nagasaki had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Nagasaki drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Nelson catches Nagasaki with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Nelson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Santosh Nagasaki. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nelson looks to land a right hand but Nagasaki moved out of range. Nelson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nagasaki swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nagasaki half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Nagasaki walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Nelson scores with a jab to the jaw. A low kick from Nagasaki is predictable there and Nelson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nagasaki is rocked! Nagasaki finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Oh Nagasaki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nagasaki throws a shot from downtown. Nelson moves away and avoids it.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Nelson lands a left and a right that send Nagasaki crashing to the mat, dazed. Nelson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Liam Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nelson throws a monster overhand right that drops Nagasaki! Nelson follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
