Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Delode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fist Mcgruff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Delode! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fist Mcgruff! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delode fails with the takedown. Delode definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Mcgruff displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Delode. Delode shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mcgruff as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Delode. That's going to take a lot out of him. Delode shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mcgruff as he jumps to the side. James Delode seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mcgruff displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Delode. Delode takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Delode takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Delode shoots and misses and Mcgruff counters with a lovely shot to the body. Delode is breathing heavily. Mcgruff lands a left and a right that send Delode crashing to the mat, dazed. Mcgruff thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like James Delode has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mcgruff leaves Delode with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Mcgruff doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Mcgruff circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Delode to the canvas! Delode doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Mcgruff keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fist Mcgruff! Jumping up and down and very excited, Fist Mcgruff waved his t-shirt featuring //buriedALIVE// Fight Gear's logo in front of the cameras.
