Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lake Dutchman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasili Djagoev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasili Djagoev told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lake Dutchman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vasili Djagoev!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Djagoev changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Djagoev throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dutchman sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Djagoev ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Dutchman throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Djagoev on the side of the head.
Dutchman misses with a jab to the body
and Djagoev counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Djagoev counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Lake Dutchman has been cut.
Dutchman avoids the body shot from Djagoev.
Djagoev ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Djagoev connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dutchman momentarily.
Djagoev uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dutchman has time to react.
Dutchman is rocked!
Dutchman misses with a hook
and Djagoev counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Dutchman out cold! What a finish! Djagoev is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vasili Djagoev!
