Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Kush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Chompers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Chompers's choice of entrance music: Enter Sandman. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Kush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dick Chompers!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kush has managed to clinch.
Chompers wants to break the clinch but can't.
Chompers wants to break free but Kush has control.
Kush landing knees to the head.
It looks like Dick Chompers has been cut.
Kush jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Chompers walks away with a smile on his face. Kush gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kush shoots in but no luck this time.
Chompers wants to clinch
and Kush counters by moving into the clinch.
Chompers has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kush uses from the top position.

Chompers escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kush gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Chompers has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kush can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kush drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kush jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Chompers isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kush stacks Chompers on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kush!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kush wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Chompers, who protects the arm well.
Kush wants to control but Chompers is keeping him busy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kush has knee on belly momentarily but Chompers bucks him off and regains half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Kush.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kush, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
