The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Olegav dives in for a single leg takedown but Gomez sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Gomez changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Olegav shoots in looking for a takedown. Gomez tries to sprawl out of it but Olegav keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gomez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Olegav manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Gomez keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
