Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gareth Owens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Grbavac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grbavac comes into a darkened arena with his song building. War Ensemble kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grbavac tries to land a leg kick but Owens saw it coming and moves away.
Owens fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Owens drops Grbavac with a beautiful combination! Grbavac stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Owens is looking for the KO!

Grbavac fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Owens manages to avoid it.

Grbavac lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Grbavac.
Owens shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Owens was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Grbavac might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Owens kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Owens has hold of Grbavac's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Grbavac manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Owens has control of Grbavac's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Grbavac regains control of the situation pretty easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
