Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrey Lobtov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Kicker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kicker has chosen Kiss Kicker 99 as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that James Kicker was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrey Lobtov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Kicker!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lobtov takes a swing at Kicker's ribcage but misses.
Kicker with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lobtov to score with a decent uppercut.
Lobtov cracks Kicker with a right hand to the side of the head.
Lobtov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kicker tries to avoid it but Lobtov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kicker to the ground. Kicker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lobtov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Lobtov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kicker looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Lobtov shoots for a takedown but Kicker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Lobtov half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kicker.
Kicker's coach down at Tayne's 4d3d3d3 Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kicker's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lobtov misses with a body punch
and Kicker holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Lobtov tries to pull guard but Kicker holds him up against the cage and eventually Lobtov drops back down to his feet.

Kicker shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lobtov eats them both and turns towards Kicker to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lobtov. Kicker does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kicker is looking for the big counter here.
Lobtov lands a nice shot to the body.

Lobtov is looking to wear down Kicker with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Lobtov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kicker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lobtov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kicker wants to pass the guard but Lobtov is defending well.
Lobtov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kicker pulls his head out easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lobtov is pressing down on Kicker's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Kicker wants to control from the top but Lobtov keeps moving.
Kicker is sitting in close to Lobtov's body. Lobtov has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kicker is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kicker is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lobtov.
