Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evan Fulton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Cormel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Evan Fulton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Danny Cormel! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fulton shoots in looking for a takedown but Cormel manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fulton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Cormel was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Fulton stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fulton wants it to stay on the feet. Fulton thinks about countering with a head kick. Cormel has Fulton up against the cage in a clinch.
Fulton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cormel lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Evan Fulton has been cut. Fulton scores with a jab. Cormel acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Fulton avoids the head kick by Cormel.
Fulton really is a fat lump. Cormel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Fulton throws a quick counter head kick but Cormel was just out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cormel feints and as Fulton raises his hands in defense, Cormel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Cormel trying to control but Fulton is working from the bottom. Fulton thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cormel won't allow Fulton to sweep him here. Cormel throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Cormel stands up from guard. Let's bang! Cormel throws a body punch but Fulton moves out of range. Horrible takedown attempt by Cormel or perhaps it was just good defense by Fulton, which made it look bad. Fulton thinks about countering with a head kick. Cormel closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fulton to the mat! Fulton manages to get full guard. Cormel loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cormel stands up from Fulton's guard - Cormel perhaps looking for a knockout. Fulton takes a body punch but keeps moving. Cormel has Fulton up against the cage in a clinch.
Cormel ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cormel no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Fulton not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Cormel working for submissions but it's allowed Fulton to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cormel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fulton's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fulton's back! Fulton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Cormel trying to control. Cormel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Fulton is looking to control the hands but Cormel breaks free and manages to sink in a rear naked choke that ends the fight!
