The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch lands to the side of O'Sullivan 's head but he takes it in his stride. Hero connects with a looping right hand.
Hero lands a nice leg kick that just misses O'Sullivan's sensitive parts. Hero misses with a hook. And O'Sullivan tries to counter it with a takedown but Hero pushes his down on his head and steps out. Hero throws a lazy right hand but O'Sullivan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Hero feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to O'Sullivan's calf. Rainbow Hero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab from Hero misses. Hero punishes O'Sullivan's body with a nice straight punch. Hero missing with a left hand there. O'Sullivan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hero throws a low kick but O'Sullivan moves out of range easily. O'Sullivan feints a counter leg kick. O'Sullivan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hero does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. O'Sullivan is taking a breather. My spies in ~T~ Troid - Gym inform me that O'Sullivan has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
