The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gibbs pushes Redwood up against the cage in a clinch. Redwood jumps into guard, dragging Gibbs to the mat.
Gibbs is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Redwood wants to sweep but no luck. Redwood thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Gibbs thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Redwood tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gibbs drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Redwood dives on top into guard. Redwood is sitting in close to Gibbs's body. Gibbs has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Redwood is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Redwood is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Gibbs.
