The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delija gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

It looks like Ante Delija has been cut.
McFatfat pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Oh, that's a big right hand from McFatfat and Delija goes tumbling to the canvas! McFatfat follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Delija told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Delija changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
McFatfat tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Delija should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Delija keeps the fight on the outside.
We've been told by McFatfat's head coaches at Shinto Elite MMA Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Delija takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Delija is still on wobbly legs! Can McFatfat finish him?
Delija moves out of range of the leg kick from McFatfat.
McFatfat fakes the body blow, causing Delija to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Delija goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

A determined Fatty McFatfat didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
