PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralf Dickstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Abbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abbott has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbott tries to clinch there but Dickstein circles away.

Abbott is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Dickstein is controlling him well.

Dickstein is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Abbott is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Dickstein tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dickstein has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Abbott is trying to get back to his feet.
Abbott is not content to let Dickstein control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Dickstein looks for a takedown but Abbott sprawls well.

Dickstein changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Abbott tries to avoid it but Dickstein manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Abbott to the ground. Abbott escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dickstein shoots in looking for a takedown. Abbott tries to sprawl out of it but Dickstein keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Abbott manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tito Abbott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Abbott will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Abbott tries to close the distance and clinch but Dickstein swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
