Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ichabod Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shogun Iron Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crane comes to the cage accompanied by Way of The Ninja. Iron Tyson has chosen Slaughterouse - Party as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

28 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Shogun Iron Tyson! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crane throws a right hand that misses
and Iron Tyson counters with a nice uppercut. Crane lands a jab to the nose. Iron Tyson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. That's one minute gone in the round. Crane rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Iron Tyson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A punch lands to the side of Iron Tyson 's head but he takes it in his stride. Crane digs a good body shot into Iron Tyson's ribs. Crane misses with a few strikes there.

Iron Tyson prevents a body shot from Crane. Iron Tyson is trying to force a seperation but Crane has the dominant position. Iron Tyson throws a head punch that misses. Iron Tyson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The fighters circle momentarily. Crane darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Crane ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Iron Tyson moves away. Iron Tyson is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Crane with a body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Iron Tyson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Crane. Iron Tyson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Crane throws a lazy right hand but Iron Tyson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Crane swings for the body but Iron Tyson moves out of range.
Iron Tyson misses with a left hand and Crane counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Iron Tyson dives in and scores a takedown into Crane's guard. Iron Tyson has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Canadian Elite Bruins Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Iron Tyson sitting in guard here, content to control. Crane pushes Iron Tyson off and scrambles back to his feet.
Crane is looking to wear down Iron Tyson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Sloppy strikes from Crane. Those never looked like landing. Crane is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Iron Tyson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Crane swings and misses with a shot to the body and Iron Tyson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Crane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

It looks like Ichabod Crane has been cut. Iron Tyson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Crane finds it's way round the side to connect with Iron Tyson's head. Nice defenses there by Iron Tyson. Iron Tyson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Iron Tyson takes one on the button. Crane lands with an overhand left. Crane takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Ichabod Crane dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ichabod Crane's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Iron Tyson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Iron Tyson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crane.
