And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jefferson Marcos!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marcos takes the fight into the clinch.
Marcos jumps guard but Bean turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Marcos stops a takedown attempt from Bean.
Bean drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bean changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Marcos fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Marcos closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bean quickly recovers to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Marcos fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bean, pushing him back against the cage.
Marcos has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bean after a bit of a struggle.
Marcos is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bean is defending well.
Marcos is trying to pull guard but Bean has him pressed against the cage.
Marcos jumps guard but Bean stands there with Marcos around his waist. Marcos gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Marcos tries a body shot but Bean blocks it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Marcos tries to pull guard but Bean forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Marcos is trying to break free.
Bean lands an elbow inside.
Bean stops a takedown attempt from Marcos.
Marcos fails to pull guard.
Bean changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Marcos fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bean shoots in looking for a takedown but Marcos manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bean's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Marcos closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bean to the mat! Bean manages to get full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Marcos shoots in and bounces Bean off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Marcos seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Bean leaves Marcos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Bean keeping moving, preventing Marcos from controlling successfully.

Marcos has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Marcos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Marcos moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Bean has worked his arm free - good work by Bean!
Marcos is breathing heavily.
Marcos is trying to ground and pound but Bean uses the momentary lack of control by Marcos to regain half guard.

Marcos is taking a breather. Bean says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Marcos wants to work for an arm triangle but Bean is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Marcos thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Bean might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Marcos perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Marcos wants to take a breather but Bean is having none of it.
Still in half guard, Marcos seems content to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Marcos shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bean napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Marcos creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Marcos is looking to take a break and control but Bean is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Marcos wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bean, who protects the arm well.

Jefferson Marcos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Bean has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Marcos avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Marcos tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bean smiles and moves away.

I would just about give that final round to Jefferson Marcos.
I've got Marcos winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
