Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bradley Gould! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ivan Krotchlikmiov! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krotchlikmiov throws a combination that misses and Gould holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Gould escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gould defending well as Krotchlikmiov loads up on a big left hand. Krotchlikmiov moves into range and clinches up with Gould. Gould has had enough of the clinch but Krotchlikmiov keeps him there for the moment. Krotchlikmiov is trying to trip Gould. He has hold of a leg but Gould is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Krotchlikmiov persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Krotchlikmiov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gould has Krotchlikmiov pulled in close to control his posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gould has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Gould wants to stand and escape but Krotchlikmiov is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krotchlikmiov trying to control but Gould is working from the bottom. Gould trying to control the position here. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Krotchlikmiov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Krotchlikmiov fails in his attempt to clinch. Krotchlikmiov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gould keeps the fight on the outside. Gould throws a big counter combination but Krotchlikmiov scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Gould fails with a takedown attempt. As Gould backs off Krotchlikmiov throws a huge counter combo but Gould manages to avoid it all. Krotchlikmiov tries to clinch but fails miserably and Gould counters with a nice double leg into side control. Krotchlikmiov won't be happy with that. Krotchlikmiov wants to get back to his feet but Gould drags him back down. Krotchlikmiov avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Gould. Krotchlikmiov tries to escape but Gould is in control. Gould throwing strikes but Krotchlikmiov manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gould wants to get back to his feet. Krotchlikmiov decides to stand back up. Krotchlikmiov steps back and let's Gould get back to his feet. Gould shoots in but Krotchlikmiov avoids the takedown attempt easily. Krotchlikmiov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Gould is looking to get back to his feet here but Krotchlikmiov is keeping cool and he's managed to take Gould's back. Gould turns into Krotchlikmiov and is now in his guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gould works over Krotchlikmiov with some ground and pound from guard. Krotchlikmiov uses the cage to get back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Krotchlikmiov misses with a double jab
and Gould decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Krotchlikmiov's guard. Krotchlikmiov keeping moving, preventing Gould from controlling successfully. Krotchlikmiov is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Gould presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. A frustrated look appears on Gould's face as he tries to break the clinch. Krotchlikmiov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gould changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Krotchlikmiov tries to avoid it but Gould manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Krotchlikmiov to the ground. Krotchlikmiov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bradley Gould. That's going to take a lot out of him. Krotchlikmiov punishes Gould's body with a nice straight punch. Gould throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Krotchlikmiov's waist but Krotchlikmiov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gould off to one side. Gould is breathing heavily. Krotchlikmiov misses with a double jab
and Gould counters with a nice kick to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Krotchlikmiov dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Krotchlikmiov tries to clinch up but Gould circles away and keeps his distance. A slow jab from Krotchlikmiov misses its intended target. Excellent takedown into side control there by Krotchlikmiov. Krotchlikmiov decides to stand back up. Krotchlikmiov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Krotchlikmiov is just content to waste time from the top position. Gould takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Krotchlikmiov stops Gould from standing up. Gould is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Krotchlikmiov stands up over Gould, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Krotchlikmiov is looking to stand up but Gould isn't so interested in that idea. Gould decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Krotchlikmiov tries a head kick but it misses.

Gould has his hands clasped together around Krotchlikmiov's back. He's all about the action. Gould is trying to maintain the position but Krotchlikmiov is very close to passing his half guard.

Krotchlikmiov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gould. Krotchlikmiov gets the takedown into side control. Krotchlikmiov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gould looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Gould is trying to control Krotchlikmiov's posture but Krotchlikmiov avoids it. An elbow from Krotchlikmiov crashes against the mat.

That's four minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Gould's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

And that's the end of the fight! Ivan Krotchlikmiov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Krotchlikmiov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
