Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Psiho Borec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JohnAmund Skaar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borec comes into the arena with Carl orff - o fortuna blaring out of the sound system. Skaar is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Number of the Beast. Psiho Borec has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Skaar closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Borec manages to work his way to half guard, despite Skaar's best efforts.

Borec has his foot on Skaar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Skaar works his way back into a safe position though.

Borec pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Borec circles away from the clinch attempt.

Skaar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Borec swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Borec throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Skaar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Skaar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Skaar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Borec. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Skaar might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Borec kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Skaar can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well Borec has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
