Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Emory Oneil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emory Oneil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Davis! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Oneil throws Davis to one side and escapes! Davis shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Oneil manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Davis looking to sit in guard and control but Oneil gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Davis working a defensive guard here.
Oneil thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Davis wants to hit a switch here but Oneil passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Davis there! Davis is working to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oneil tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Davis is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Oneil is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Davis has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Davis! Davis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Oneil. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Oneil keeping moving, preventing Davis from controlling successfully. Oneil wants to sweep here but Davis controlling him for the moment. Davis stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davis wants to take a breather but Oneil manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Davis. Oneil working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Davis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Oneil is tightening it up a little... Davis has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Davis reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Davis taps out! Nice BJJ there by Oneil!
