Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cuddles Mackenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mackenzie comes into the arena with Bitter Peace by Slayer blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Jones's choice of entrance music: Bloc Party - Banquet. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mackenzie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jones misses with a double jab.
Jab, jab by Jones - just one landing.
Jones fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jones stuffs the takedown.
Jones misses with a body shot.
Mackenzie takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mackenzie uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jones.

and Mackenzie counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mackenzie sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Mackenzie throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease.
Mackenzie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Mackenzie wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
Jones manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
