Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Elroy Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bradley Herman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elroy Kennedy had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elroy Kennedy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bradley Herman!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Kennedy as he checks the leg kick.
Kennedy went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Herman misses with a hook.

Kennedy shoots in and bounces Herman off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Herman wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Kennedy manages to pass to side control.

Herman is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kennedy escapes and gets back to his feet.

A punch combination from Kennedy misses.

Kennedy gets tackled into the cage by Herman. Herman maintains the clinch.
Kennedy tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Herman's elbow.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Herman misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kennedy.
Kennedy is looking to control Herman's arms but Herman gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kennedy has his back to the cage.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Elroy Kennedy.

Herman closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kennedy did well to prevent Herman getting side control.
Kennedy regains full guard. Nicely done.

Herman postures up.

Kennedy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Herman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kennedy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Herman is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Kennedy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kennedy looking for a sweep. Not yet Kennedy, not yet.

Kennedy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Herman's guard.

Herman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kennedy stands and steps away. Herman gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Herman misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kennedy takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Herman misses with an uppercut. Kennedy saw that one coming.
Kennedy is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Herman.
Kennedy avoids the body shot from Herman.
Kennedy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Herman.

Herman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kennedy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kennedy appears to be looking for a big counter.
Herman looks to land a combination but Kennedy avoids it well.
Herman lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Kennedy fails to land the takedown.

Herman closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kennedy quickly recovers to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kennedy is staying active underneath Herman, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Kennedy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Herman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kennedy napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Herman tries to move to mount but Kennedy blocks the move with his legs.
Kennedy trying his best to control but Herman has mounted him.
Herman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kennedy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kennedy is looking to improve his position but Herman isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kennedy regains half guard.
Kennedy tries to get to full guard but Herman has control of the leg.
Kennedy flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Kennedy is trying to maintain the position but Herman is very close to passing his half guard.
Kennedy trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Herman manages to pass to mount!
Kennedy tries to hold on but Herman postures up.
Kennedy really wants to buck Herman off and get back to his feet.
Herman prevents Kennedy from getting the reversal.
Herman has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Kennedy swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Kennedy tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Herman wants to control the pace but Kennedy is squirming around nicely.
Kennedy tries to reverse the position but Herman maintains control.
Herman looking to control and managing it successfully.
Herman tries to control but Kennedy wriggling away.
Herman might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kennedy haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Kennedy swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Kennedy is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kennedy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Herman wants to control the pace but Kennedy is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bradley Herman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!

Kennedy slips a straight right by Herman.
As Herman tries to get set, Kennedy tries to push him back and clinch up but Herman manages to avoid the attempt.
Kennedy takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Herman throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Herman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kennedy tries to counter by clinching up but Herman breaks away and moves out of range.
Herman throws a body punch but Kennedy moves out of range.
As Herman tries to get set, Kennedy tries to push him back and clinch up but Herman manages to avoid the attempt.

Herman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Herman manages to get to full guard.
Kennedy sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Kennedy gets to his feet - Herman follows without any prompting.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kennedy gets tackled into the cage by Herman. Herman maintains the clinch.
Herman is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kennedy is defending well for now.
Kennedy tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Herman manages to break the clinch.

Herman gets a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Kennedy manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Herman is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Kennedy trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kennedy is on top in guard.

Herman wants to sweep here but Kennedy controlling him for the moment.

Kennedy decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Herman, up you get!

Kennedy sneaks out the side door and pushes Herman away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Herman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Bradley Herman is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

A leg kick checked by Kennedy.
Kennedy throws a quick counter kick to the body but Herman avoids it.
Elroy Kennedy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kennedy on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Herman. Herman obviously looking to wear him down.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Herman darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kennedy is looking for a sweep. Herman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Herman trying to control from half guard but Kennedy is working away.
Kennedy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Herman is working away from the top position though.
Kennedy makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kennedy.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Elroy Kennedy.
I think Herman has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
