Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Higgins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Tan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Higgins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Tan! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tan tries to clinch up but Higgins circles away and keeps his distance. It appears Higgins was looking to counter with a kick there. Higgins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A lazy left from Higgins finds it's target. Higgins on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Tan tries to clinch there but Higgins circles away.
Higgins throws a head kick but Tan moves out of range.
Higgins fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Higgins napping and manages to drive through into side control! Higgins throws Tan to one side and escapes! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tan fails in his attempt to clinch. Higgins throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Tan drives through with a takedown into Higgins's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Tan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Tan looking to sit in guard and control but Higgins gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Tan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Higgins is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tan is looking for a triangle here but Higgins uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Tan looks winded! Tan trying to control but Higgins flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Tan is looking to control the hands but Higgins breaks free and manages to sink in a rear naked choke that ends the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jack Higgins!
