Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ignacio Mcfarland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Fort! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fort throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mcfarland was covering up waiting for the punch and Fort finishes the takedown easily into guard. Fort trying to control but Mcfarland is working from the bottom. Mcfarland trying to keep a closed guard but Fort is proving a slippery customer.
Fort content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Fort showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Mcfarland is trying to keep Fort in close.
Mcfarland wants to stand and escape but Fort is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fort slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Fort advances nicely into full mount. Mcfarland is squirming around, avoiding Fort's attempts to control the action. Mcfarland is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fort looking to control but Mcfarland is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Mcfarland can't escape the position.
Mcfarland is trying to stand up. Fort tries to control but Mcfarland wriggling away. Mcfarland tries to lock up and control but Fort gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Fort wants to control the pace but Mcfarland is squirming around nicely. Fort breaks from Mcfarland's wrist control and lands an elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fort is in the full mount, landing strikes. Mcfarland is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. BOOM! Fort connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Fort looking to control but Mcfarland is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Fort landing strikes from the mount and Mcfarland is in trouble!

Mcfarland is rocked! Fort cracks Mcfarland with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
