Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shoei Braz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Marston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marston has chosen Bring it on motherfucker as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Shoei Braz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lucas Marston! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Braz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Marston tries to avoid it but Braz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Marston to the ground. Marston escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Braz tries for a takedown but Marston circles away easily and Marston counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Shoei Braz has been cut. Braz shoots in looking for a takedown. Marston tries to sprawl out of it but Braz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marston manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shoei Braz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Braz changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Marston looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Braz wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Marston, who protects the arm well. Braz is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Marston is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Braz is trying to land an Americana. That's one minute gone in the round. Marston wants to control from the top but Braz keeps moving. Braz has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Marston looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Marston throwing strikes but missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marston trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Braz preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Marston trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Marston looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Marston throwing strikes but missing. Marston throws an elbow that misses. Braz uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Marston's guard. Nice move by Braz!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Shoei Braz! Shoei Braz really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that KnockOut logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
