Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kane Ardal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinoa Smiff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kane Ardal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Quinoa Smiff!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ardal pushes Smiff away with a front kick.
Sloppy strikes from Ardal. Those never looked like landing.
Smiff throws a hook to the side of Ardal's head but Ardal sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
It looked like Ardal wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
A low kick from Ardal is predictable there
and Smiff connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Smiff ducks right into an uppercut from Ardal.
A jab lands there for Ardal.
Smiff on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ardal. Ardal obviously looking to wear him down.
Smiff misses with a body shot.
Smiff moves out of range as Ardal strikes.
Smiff uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ardal.
Smiff has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ardal.

Ardal cracks Smiff with an open hand slap.

Ardal scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Ardal moves out of range of the strikes.
Smiff closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ardal circles away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ardal lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Smiff has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Smiff and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Smiff breaks from the clinch.
Ardal dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ardal looks for the body kick but Smiff saw that one coming.
Ardal on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Smiff closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ardal quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ardal actively working from the bottom here.
Smiff tries to pass to full mount but Ardal defends it.

Ardal wants to get back to full guard but Smiff has mounted him!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ardal is desperately trying to improve his position but Smiff has a good base and remains in mount.

The referee warns Ardal that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Smiff connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Ardal is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Smiff pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Smiff lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Oh Ardal is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smiff scoring with strikes but Ardal is staying in there.

Smiff postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Ardal badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Smiff around the waist but Smiff pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Smiff is the winner by TKO! Smiff jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
