Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Avon Barksdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josh Wade is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barksdale connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Barksdale lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Wade has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Barksdale jabs Wade right on the nose. Wade blinks but takes it well.
Barksdale lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Barksdale lands with a straight right. Wade didn't see that one coming.
Good shot there by Barksdale.
Barksdale connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Wade momentarily.
Barksdale uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Wade has time to react.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Barksdale!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters circle momentarily. Barksdale darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Wade takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Wade tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
A telegraphed right hand from Barksdale misses the target.
Wade is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Wade takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Wade looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Barksdale scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Donk. Barksdale catches Wade right on the button with a cross.
Barksdale misses with an uppercut
and Wade counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Wade.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barksdale looking for a sweep. Not yet Barksdale, not yet.
Wade drops back looking for a leg! Barksdale is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Barksdale manages to kick Wade off! Wade jumps back into Barksdale's guard.

Wade thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Wade drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wade jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Barksdale on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Barksdale tries to get out of the position.
Wade's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Wade drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Wade as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Barksdale screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Wade! Nice submission victory there!
