Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pieter Daan Mostert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deshaun Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams has chosen Dr. Octagon - Earth People as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Deshaun Williams will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Deshaun Williams! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mostert drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mostert trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom. Mostert is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Williams is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Williams tries to land a sweep but no joy. Williams keeping full guard, as Mostert tries to pass. Mostert is working hard here to advance position. Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mostert. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mostert is looking to take a break and control but Williams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mostert is just content to waste time from the top position.
