Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Celso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Celso comes into the arena with Bad Boys by The Inner Circle blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Anthony Celso! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dean Ryan! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryan looks for a takedown but Celso sprawls well. Celso closes the distance and clinches. Ryan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Celso is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Celso stalling in the clinch.
Ryan takes a knee to the side of the body. Nice body punch from Celso. Celso stalling the fight.
Celso pulls guard. Celso is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Ryan is staying active underneath Celso, who seems content to just control the action from this position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryan is trying to get back to full guard. Celso wants to pass the guard but Ryan is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryan tries to get to full guard but Celso has control of the leg. Ryan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Ryan keeps trying to improve his position. Ryan is refusing to be controlled, as Celso sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Celso scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ryan is trying to control but can't.
Ryan avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Celso. Celso works his foot free and advances to mount. Ryan is desperately trying to improve his position but Celso has a good base and remains in mount. Celso controlling his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ryan is squirming around, avoiding Celso's attempts to control the action. Ryan is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Poor strikes thrown by Celso there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Ryan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Ryan blocking the ground and pound. Celso throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. A nice elbow there by Celso. Ryan wants to hold on but Celso pushes him away. Celso is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Ryan has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Ryan! Ryan content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Celso is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ryan rolls with it to try and escape but Celso cranks on the arm and Ryan is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Anthony Celso! After winning the bout, Anthony Celso thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
