Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Owens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Owens comes into the arena with Thunderstruck by AC/DC blaring out of the sound system. Owens has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joseph Owens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ken Williams!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Williams connects with a body shot.
Owens thows a leg kick but Williams checks it
and Williams counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Williams postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Owens to stand up.
Owens is breathing heavily.
Owens sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Williams lands a big head kick that sends Owens tumbling to the mat! Williams takes a step backwards and waves Owens back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Joseph Owens has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Both fighters circling a little - Williams finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
The fighters circle, before Williams throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Owens's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Williams lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Ken Williams!
The defeated Joseph Owens had this to say: 'I deserve a title shot! NOW!'.
