Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Gregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ken Stone!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gregor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stone pinned against the cage. Stone gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Stone rushes Gregor and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Stone connects with a knee to the head.


It looks like James Gregor has been cut.

Gregor jumps into guard, dragging Stone to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gregor wants to stand up but Stone is controlling him.

Stone stands and steps away. Gregor gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stone rushes Gregor and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Stone lands an elbow just above Gregor 's eye.
Gregor jumps guard but Stone stands there with Gregor around his waist. Gregor gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
