PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Hayden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baruch Zahav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zahav dodges the punch combination from Hayden.
A combination from Hayden does no damage. Hayden's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Zahav connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hayden scrambles back to his feet.
It looks like Daniel Hayden has been cut. Zahav with a nice cross. Hayden walks straight into a right hand from Zahav - that's dropped him! Zahav jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Hayden from any more punishment! Hayden complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Baruch Zahav! Baruch Zahav bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
