Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Lainey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Djin Kvasir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kvasir's choice of entrance music: Nightmare. Djin Kvasir has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddie Lainey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 23 - 0, fighting out of London, Djin Kvasir! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Lainey finds it's way through Kvasir's defenses. Lainey clinches up against the cage. Lainey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kvasir takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Lainey cracks Kvasir with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Kvasir slips a jab and a cross from Lainey.
Lainey's corner calls for a 1-2. Lainey obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Kvasir takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kvasir shoots in for a takedown but Lainey shows good takedown defense. Lainey connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Kvasir shoots for a double leg takedown but Lainey sprawls well. He's pushed Kvasir's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Lainey really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lainey scores with a decent looking hook. Lainey throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kvasir. Kvasir fails with the takedown. Eddie Lainey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Djin Kvasir. Kvasir shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lainey but Lainey pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Kvasir pushes Lainey against the cage but Lainey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kvasir checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Lainey wants to land a leg kick but Kvasir is out of range. Kvasir is looking for the big counter here. Lainey fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kvasir, pushing him back against the cage. Lainey breaks the clinch.
Lainey works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Lainey is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Lainey bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kvasir's head. Lainey is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lainey forces Kvasir back against the cage and clinches. Lainey breaks from the clinch.
Lainey feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kvasirs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Kvasir walks into a straight right hand from Lainey. Lainey clinches up against the cage. Lainey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lainey lands a jab. Lainey lands with a cross. No joy there for Lainey, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

It looks like Djin Kvasir has been cut. Lainey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kvasir walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Lainey lands a head shot. A lazy left from Lainey finds it's target. Kvasir shoots in looking for a takedown but Lainey manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kvasir's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lainey lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lainey moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Eddie Lainey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lainey takes the fight into the clinch. Lainey breaks from the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lainey pushes Kvasir up against the cage in a clinch. Lainey breaks the clinch.

Lainey breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lainey moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Lainey lands with a nice body punch. Lainey fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kvasir, pushing him back against the cage. Lainey breaks from the clinch.
Lainey closes the distance and clinches. Lainey's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lainey connects with a jab. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lainey throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kvasir stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kvasir takes a shot right to the bread basket. Lainey closes the distance and lands a one-two. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie Lainey dominated that round. The cut man is working on Djin Kvasir's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Kvasir has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Lainey lands with an overhand left. Kvasir shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lainey sprawls well. Lainey wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kvasir gets slowly back to his feet. Lainey throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kvasir unleashes a big counter combination but Lainey bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. The fight moves into the clinch position. Still in the clinch, Lainey scores with a nice short uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kvasir changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lainey fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Kvasir is rocked! Lainey lands with a right that hurts Kvasir. Kvasir looks to clinch but Lainey throws a short knee that drops Kvasir. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Eddie Lainey! In defeat, Djin Kvasir stepped up to the mic, saying 'next time is the time'.
