Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martins feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Garrett is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Martins is aware though and is defending well.

Garrett escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Martins gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Martins sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Garrett's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Martins seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Martins passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Garrett!
Garrett has left one of his arms exposed and Martins doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Garrett screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
