Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Daley McReynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hao Ah Yu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hao Ah Yu struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 137.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Hao Ah Yu was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daley McReynolds! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hao Ah Yu! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yu does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. McReynolds feinted with a counter takedown. McReynolds throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Yu feints a counter leg kick. Good leg kick by Yu there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Yu throws a leg kick that misses. McReynolds is looking to counter the offense by Yu and move into the clinch. Yu cracks the inside of McReynolds's front leg. McReynolds has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Best gym EVER! in the buildup to the fight. A nice leg kick lands there from Yu. McReynolds checks the leg kick nicely there.
McReynolds swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. McReynolds tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yu paws at him with a jab and circles away. Yu thows a leg kick but McReynolds checks it and McReynolds decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Yu's guard. Yu is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and McReynolds defends well. Yu is looking for a triangle but McReynolds pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yu looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Yu controls McReynolds momentarily but McReynolds frees himself.

McReynolds makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. McReynolds knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yu on the ground. McReynolds lands a couple of elbows. McReynolds controls from within his opponent's guard. McReynolds's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Yu looking for a sweep. Not yet Yu, not yet.

McReynolds might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. McReynolds content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. McReynolds is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. McReynolds keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Yu's head. McReynolds has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Yu is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and McReynolds defends well. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. McReynolds postures up and lands a big shot to Yu's brow. McReynolds engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. McReynolds with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Yu is looking to cinch up a triangle. McReynolds throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Yu's body to avoid the submission. Yu has instead reached around McReynolds's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Yu arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
