The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rabago tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Holmn swivels and escapes.

Rabago tries to keep at a distance but Holmn has taken the fight into the clinch.
Rabago has had enough of the clinch but Holmn keeps him there for the moment.

Rabago is working an open guard so Holmn takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Rabago jumps guard but Holmn stands there with Rabago around his waist. Rabago gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Rabago turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Rabago manages to end up in side control.

Rabago goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Holmn has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rabago but great work by Holmn.

Holmn is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rabago is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Holmn stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Rabago closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Rabago is looking for a kimura here.
Holmn pushes Rabago off looking to stand but Rabago dives back in and keeps control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Holmn doesn't manage to clinch there - Rabago circles away.

Holmn gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Rabago decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Holmn, up you get!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rabago goes for an armbar but Holmn turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Holmn.

Rabago escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Holmn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rabago is looking for a triangle but Holmn pushes his legs off easily.

Rabago had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Holmn is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rabago Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Holmn's back instead.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Rabago is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Holmn has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Holmn is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Rabago is persistently looking for the submission but Holmn is defending it well.

Holmn is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Rabago gets his way!

Rabago has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Holmn has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Holmn circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rabago fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Holmn manages to avoid it.
Rabago shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Holmn pinned against the cage. Holmn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Holmn tries to close the distance and clinch but Rabago swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rabago shoots in looking for a takedown. Holmn tries to sprawl out of it but Rabago keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Holmn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Holmn kicks off Rabago and gets to his feet.
Rabago throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Holmn's waist but Holmn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rabago off to one side.
Rabago lands a nice hook to Holmn's body. Holmn takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Holmn stuffs the takedown attempt from Rabago. Rabago gets slowly back to his feet.

Rabago rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Holmn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Rabago shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rabago was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Holmn is defending against the submission attempts here by Rabago.

Rabago looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
