Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bernhard Adelhard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lamont Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adelhard's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Godsmack - I Stand Alone. Hawkins has chosen Wu-Tang Clan - C.R.E.A.M as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Hawkins. Those never looked like landing.
Hawkins throws a head kick but Adelhard moves out of range.

Hawkins throws a lazy right hand but Adelhard sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Hawkins clobbers Adelhard with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hawkins working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Adelhard doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Adelhard manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hawkins manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Adelhard manages to get himself to full guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Adelhard's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
