Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Hearst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Kshymensky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hearst comes to the cage accompanied by Symphony of Destruction. Kshymensky has chosen let it rock as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jesse Kshymensky has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with George Hearst's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Hearst! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Kshymensky! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kshymensky closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hearst to the mat! Hearst manages to get full guard. Hearst looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Hearst is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kshymensky decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Kshymensky closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Kshymensky has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kshymensky cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kshymensky with shots to the head and body - Hearst looks very uncomfortable down there. Kshymensky is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hearst can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Kshymensky lands a heavy elbow. Kshymensky fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Kshymensky tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kshymensky dominating with strikes here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kshymensky jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Hearst manages to avoid the submission attempt. Hearst misses with an elbow from the bottom. Hearst takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Hearst is looking to reverse the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hearst is working hard here to advance position. Kshymensky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hearst. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kshymensky blocks the strikes from Hearst.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kshymensky controlling from side mount. Hearst trying his best to control but Kshymensky has mounted him. Hearst is trying desperately to improve position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hearst swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hearst looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Hearst just trying to survive but Kshymensky is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Kshymensky punishes Hearst with strikes from the back mount. Kshymensky lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Kshymensky.
Kshymensky just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Hearst has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kshymensky is landing with strikes from the back. Hearst trying to control but not successfully. Hearst has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Kshymensky is trying to stick to Hearst's back but Hearst is turning into Kshymensky. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kshymensky's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hearst.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kshymensky looking for a sweep. Not yet Kshymensky, not yet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A combination from Hearst does no damage. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kshymensky. Hearst tries to bum rush Kshymensky with a series of wild strikes but Kshymensky uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kshymensky missing with a left hand there. Hearst was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Hearst will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kshymensky decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kshymensky wants to pass to mount but Hearst is defending the position. Hearst is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Kshymensky pulls his head out easily. Hearst scores with a few weak punches. Hearst tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hearst moves into full guard.
Hearst working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kshymensky doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kshymensky manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Hearst keeping full guard, as Kshymensky tries to pass. Hearst is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Kshymensky frees his head nicely. Oh but Hearst has switched to an armbar! Kshymensky is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
