Luzhin connects with a nasty looking knee right to Jergensen's face.
Jergensen is trying to stall.
Luzhin tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Luzhin.
Jergensen blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jergensen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Luzhin pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nikolai Luzhin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sven Jergensen.
Jergensen thuds a left hand into Luzhin's body.
Luzhin connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Jergensen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jergensen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jergensen stalks Luzhin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Luzhin's face. Luzhin staggers backwards, shaken.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nikolai Luzhin.
