Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cub Lamas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tony Bison!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamas thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bison throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Lamas counter with a right hand.
Lamas swings for the body but Bison moves out of range.
Bison connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Nice uppercut lands for Lamas. That snapped Bison's head back.
Lamas lands a nice shot that snaps Bison's head back.
Bison is rocked!
Bison keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bison is still on wobbly legs! Can Lamas finish him?
Lamas is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Bison like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Bison from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cub Lamas!
