Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Dillon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pavel Hryunov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pavel Hryunov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dennis Dillon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pavel Hryunov! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Dean Styles and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hryunov throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Dillon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hryunov swivels and escapes. Hryunov throws a leg kick and Dillon counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Hryunov blocking the ground and pound attempt from Dillon. Hryunov has hold of Dillon's hands but Dillon slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hryunov won't allow Dillon to pass to mount. Hryunov wants to control but Dillon is keeping busy.
Dillon missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Hryunov told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dillon thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hryunov's head. Dillon is working for a kimura but Hryunov is defending it quite comfortably.
Hryunov wants to improve his position but Dillon is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dillon takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Dillon wants to pass the guard but Hryunov is defending well. Dillon looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hryunov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Dillon lands with a punch from half guard. Dillon moves into full mount! Hryunov won't be happy about that! Dillon is landing with some decent strikes but Hryunov is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Dillon looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Hryunov defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Dillon. Dillon throws some wild stikes that Hryunov manages to avoid easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dillon lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Hryunov is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Dillon connects with a bit shot that sees Hryunov covering up! More strikes from Dillon and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Dillon is our winner by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dennis Dillon!
