Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alec Silifant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asu Kuren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Alec Silifant has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Alec Silifant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Asu Kuren! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silifant gets tackled into the cage by Kuren. Kuren maintains the clinch. Kuren is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Silifant pulls him back up using the underhooks. Kuren drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Silifant gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Silifant prevents a takedown attempt there.
Alec Silifant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Asu Kuren. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silifant misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kuren.
That's one minute gone in the round. A battle for position here, against the cage. Silifant trying to stall but Kuren improves his position.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kuren has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Kuren changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Silifant fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Silifant looks to throw the jab but Kuren is out of range. Silifant waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kuren. Kuren is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Silifant uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Kuren tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Silifant manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Silifant lands a nice shot to the body.
Kuren takes the fight into the clinch. Silifant looking to stall.
Silifant misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kuren.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silifant is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Silifant trying to stall but Kuren improves his position.
Kuren drops down looking for an ankle pick but Silifant pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kuren closes the distance and clinches. Silifant is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kuren is defending well for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kuren drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Silifant gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Silifant tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kuren avoids it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Silifant's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Silifant swings away with an uppercut that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kuren defending well as Silifant loads up on a big left hand. The fighters circling - Silifant throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Silifant is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kuren can do to turn this around? Kuren tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Silifant manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Silifant appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Kuren shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Silifant defends it nicely. Alec Silifant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kuren closes the distance and clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kuren blocks an uppercut.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Silifant prevents the takedown attempt.
Silifant tries to land knees in the clinch but Kuren avoids the damage to the body. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kuren has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Silifant after a bit of a struggle. Silifant misses with a short punch on the inside. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alec Silifant dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Silifant is squirming around, avoiding Kuren's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silifant is trying desperately to improve position. Kuren looking to ground and pound but Silifant is blocking nicely. Kuren content just to control the position here. Silifant tries to hold on but Kuren postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kuren lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Silifant hang on?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silifant tries to reverse the position but Kuren maintains control. Kuren misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Silifant wants to control but Kuren is having none of it. Kuren controlling the pace for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silifant really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Silifant bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Silifant accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kuren controlling Silifant's posture. Silifant stopping the sweep attempt from Kuren. Silifant wants to control from the top but Kuren keeps moving. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Silifant stops Kuren from standing up. Silifant trying to control but Kuren is working from the bottom. Asu Kuren has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kuren throws a nice elbow from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Asu Kuren comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Silifant has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
