Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Dmitry Maklakov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smarks's corner calls for a 1-2. Smarks obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Smarks dives in for a single leg takedown but Juei sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Smarks shoots in for a double leg but Juei sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
No luck for Smarks with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alvin Smarks. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smarks stuffs the takedown.

Smarks changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Juei tries to avoid it but Smarks manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Juei to the ground. Juei escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Smarks is breathing heavily.
Smarks looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Juei shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Smarks as he jumps to the side.

A slapping leg kick lands for Juei.
Smarks shoots in and drives through. Juei sprawls well.
Smarks shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Juei as he jumps to the side.
Juei shoots in looking for a takedown but Smarks manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Juei's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
We've been told by Smarks's head coaches at The Bear's Den ($300) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Smarks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Juei pinned against the cage. Juei gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Juei clinches up with Smarks and pushes him back against the cage.
Juei changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Smarks fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Smarks connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Juei is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Smarks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Juei pinned against the cage. Juei gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Smarks takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Juei looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Juei gets caught flat footed, as Smarks shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Smarks is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Smarks passes Juei's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Smarks seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Juei is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

A relieved looking Alvin Smarks thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
