Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eros Ramasotti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pony Pony! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramasotti moves out of range of the body kick from Pony.
Pony misses with a straight left. Ramasotti tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pony swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ramasotti tries a low kick but Pony avoids it. Pony doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Ramasotti feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Pony's calf. Pony throws a leg kick that misses. Pony uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ramasotti.
Pony is looking for the big counter here. Pony misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ramasotti ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Pony swinging wildly here.
As Pony tries to get set, Ramasotti tries to push him back and clinch up but Pony manages to avoid the attempt. Ramasotti stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

and Ramasotti makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Ramasotti misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pony.
Ramasotti moves out of range as Pony strikes. Pony throws a head kick that misses. Pony looks to land a combination but Ramasotti avoids it well. Pony bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ramasotti's head. A clash of legs there as Ramasotti blocks the low kick. A nice leg kick lands there from Ramasotti. Pony throws a head kick that misses. Ramasotti showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pony.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Danga de danga de dang - Pony scores with a four punch combination! A big right from Pony misses. Pony misses with a body shot.
Pony Pony seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pony blocks a leg kick. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pony! But no joy. A looping hook to the body misses from Ramasotti. Pony does a little dance to reset his feet. This has been an exciting period of action! Ramasotti throws a leg kick which misses Pony's front leg but catches the back leg as Pony tries to avoid it. Pony looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Ramasotti lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Ramasotti throws a body shot but no joy. Pony lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Pony throws a head kick that misses. Pony throws a sloppy head kick and Ramasotti counters with a nice body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Pony Pony will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ramasotti throws a nice outside leg kick. Pony walks forward, straight into a front kick from Ramasotti. A punch combination from Pony misses. Ramasotti throws a body punch but Pony moves out of range. Pony uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ramasotti.
Eros Ramasotti is winning the standup battle so far. Ramasotti avoids the head kick by Pony.
Ramasotti connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pony's hands. Ramasotti is looking to wear down Pony with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Ramasotti smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Pony drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ramasotti lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Ramasotti throws a jab but it's blocked by Pony. Ramasotti drives through and clinches with Pony against the ropes.
Pony has had enough of the clinch but Ramasotti keeps him there for the moment.

Ramasotti keeps control of Pony as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Pony missing with knees to the body.
Ramasotti makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Pony wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ramasotti has him pressed against the ropes. Pony trying to land knees to the body.
Ramasotti lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Pony. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eros Ramasotti dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action!
Pony moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Pony circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ramasotti connects with a single shot there. Ramasotti fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pony, pushing him back against the ropes. A frustrated look appears on Pony's face as he tries to break the clinch. A short body shot lands from Ramasotti as the two fighters clinch.
Pony tries a knee to the head but Ramasotti blocks it.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Ramasotti. Ramasotti lands a body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ramasotti presses Pony against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Ramasotti tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Ramasotti lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Pony. Pony takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ramasotti lands a body shot. A body shot lands from Ramasotti.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramasotti lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Pony backwards. Ramasotti lands with a right to the head. Ramasotti lands a hook that snaps the head of Pony backwards. Pony is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Ramasotti misses with a hook to the ribs.
Ramasotti lands with a short shot to the head. Pony tries to circle away but Ramasotti has him pinned against the ropes. Ramasotti digs a right hand into Pony's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Pony's gas tank. Ramasotti breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Pony with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Pony looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Pony get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? Yes, he's struggled back up to his feet and seems OK to continue. The referee agrees so we're back to the action!
Pony is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pony misses with a head kick.
Ramasotti appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Ramasotti has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pony finds it's way round the side to connect with Ramasotti's head. Ramasotti with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ramasotti cracks Pony with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Pony get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Pony looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue! Pony is still on wobbly legs! Can Ramasotti finish him? Ramasotti darts in and clinches Pony up against the ropes. Pony seems to have recovered his senses. Ramasotti lands a shot to the body. Ramasotti lands a right hand that snaps the head of Pony backwards. Ramasotti cracks Pony with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Pony goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Pony wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Eros Ramasotti! In his post fight interview, Eros Ramasotti started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
