Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Crown Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georgios Samaras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Crown Halo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Georgios Samaras! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Halo throws a head kick but Samaras moves out of range.
Georgios Samaras seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Samaras misses with a head kick.
Halo throws a series of punches but Samaras avoids them all with ease. Halo seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Halo swats away the attempt to clinch by Samaras. A head kick by Samaras misses and Halo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. A left hand lands to the body for Halo.
Samaras with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Samaras is trying to break the clinch but Halo has him pressed against the ropes. Samaras looking to throw knees to the head but Halo is blocking nicely.
Halo pushes off an throws an elbow but Samaras leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes. Halo avoiding damage as Samaras throws knees to the body.
Samaras using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Halo has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Samaras tries to land a knee to the head but Halo blocks with his arms.
Halo breaks from the clinch.
Samaras throws a leg kick that is checked and Halo counters with a good low kick that Samaras was not able to check. Samaras throws a leg kick that is checked and Halo counters with an inside leg kick. Halo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Samaras closes the distance and pushes Halo back into the ropes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Samaras misses with a knee strike.
Halo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Halo throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Halo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Samaras's hands. Samaras throws a sloppy head kick and Halo counters with a series of strikes. Samaras will be more careful next time no doubt. Samaras falls off balance throwing a combination
and Halo counters with a slapping leg kick. Halo throws a right and a left that Samaras avoids nicely. Samaras looks for the body kick but Halo saw that one coming. Halo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Samaras. That did some damage! Samaras tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Halo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Samaras has Halo up against the ropes in a clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Halo breaks from the clinch.
Samaras throws a lazy uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Halo keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Samaras has Halo up against the ropes in a clinch.
Samaras throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Halo blocks it with crossed arms. Halo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Halo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Halo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Halo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Samaras appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. The fighters circle momentarily. Samaras darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Halo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Halo moves into the clinch. Halo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Samaras does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Jab by Halo. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nice shot lands for Halo. Samaras gets a clinch. Samaras with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Halo working some nice short punches in the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Crown Halo dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Samaras throws a solid leg kick but Halo takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Samaras. Samaras moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Crown Halo is winning the standup battle so far. Halo misses with a head kick.
Samaras fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Halo manages to avoid it. Halo works the jab nicely. Samaras misses the jab. Halo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Samaras wants to counter with a clinch but Halo pushes him away. Samaras looks to land a combination but Halo avoids it well. Halo keeps Samaras at a distance using the push kick. Samaras thows a leg kick but Halo checks it and Halo counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Samaras looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Halo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Samaras can do to turn this around? Halo throws a nice inside leg kick. Samaras throws a poor cross that misses
and Halo counters with a nice kick to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Halo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Halo connects with a leg kick. Samaras looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Samaras connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Halo throws a head kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Samaras walks forward, straight into a front kick from Halo. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Halo. Samaras shrugs it off though. Crown Halo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Halo scores with a hook. Halo throws a switch kick that catches Samaras on the top of the head and drops him to the canvas! Samaras looks hurt - I'm not sure he's going to get back up! The referee starts the count but calls it off at seven as Samaras flops around on the canvas, clearly in no position to continue! This fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Crown Halo!
