The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate scores with a jab.
Liss keeps Tate at a distance using the push kick.
Tate throws a low kick but it's checked well by Liss.
The crowd cheers as Tate lands an impressive looking overhand right. Liss doesn't seem phased though.

Tate tries to keep at a distance but Liss has taken the fight into the clinch.
Come on Liss - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Liss managing to block the knees to the body from Tate.

Liss breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Liss misses with a leg kick
and Tate counters with a stiff right hand.
Tate throws a leg kick which misses Liss's front leg but catches the back leg as Liss tries to avoid it.
Liss throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tate connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Liss throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Tate counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Liss misses with a double jab
and Tate counters with a nice leg kick.
Liss tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tate paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Liss throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tate cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Liss looks gassed!
Liss fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Liss throws a lazy head kick
enabling Tate to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Sove Liss has been cut.
A lazy left from Tate finds it's target.
Tate scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
The fighters circle, before Tate throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Liss's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Tate lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
