Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hubert Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarod Kidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hubert Greene has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hubert Greene! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jarod Kidd! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kidd gets a takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Greene looking for submissions off his back. Greene won't allow Kidd to pass to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Greene looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Kidd pushes past his half guard into mount! Greene tries to hold on but Kidd pushes him away. Kidd controlling the position easily from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kidd goes for an armbar but Greene turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Greene. Kidd is controlling Greene's posture. Let's hope that Kidd has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Greene preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Greene wants to control from the top but Kidd keeps moving. Greene in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kidd throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Kidd trying to strike off his back.
Kidd wants to sweep here but Greene controlling him for the moment. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Greene trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kidd is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Greene lands a couple of digs. Greene throws a big elbow that misses. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Greene accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kidd working for a triangle but Greene defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kidd throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.
Greene has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Greene landing with the ground and pound. Kidd looking for a sweep. Not yet Kidd, not yet. Greene trying to control the position from guard on top but Kidd is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kidd controlling the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Kidd closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kidd lands in his opponent's guard. Greene trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Greene keeping moving, preventing Kidd from controlling successfully. Kidd's corner is telling him to maintain position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kidd wants to control from the top but Greene keeps moving. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kidd chips away with some ground and pound. Kidd with a nice head shot there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jarod Kidd dominated that round. That's time! Greene's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kidd gets a takedown into half guard. Kidd slows the pace down in half guard. Jarod Kidd has got the better of the ground game so far. Greene wants to improve his position but Kidd is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kidd is nestled in close to Greene, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Greene trying to control from the bottom.
Still in half guard, Kidd seems content to control. Greene has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kidd is working away from the top position though. Kidd sitting and controlling from the half guard. Kidd is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Greene manages to get to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kidd distracts Greene with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Greene will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Kidd controls from within his opponent's guard. Greene throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kidd escapes and throws Greene's legs to the side, diving into side control! Kidd slows the pace down. Greene is looking for a sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kidd is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Kidd tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Kidd working the head and body with strikes. Kidd advances to full mount. Kidd takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Greene really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kidd landing strikes from the mount and Greene is in trouble!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kidd trying to control but he's not successful this time. Greene has given up his back.
Kidd is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Greene tries to escape the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kidd looking for the choke from the back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jarod Kidd showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Greene's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Kidd drives through with a takedown into Greene's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Greene wants to get back to his feet but Kidd passes into half guard.

Kidd content just to control the position here. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kidd cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kidd controlling his opponent. Greene is desperately trying to improve his position but Kidd has a good base and remains in mount. Kidd controlling from mount. Kidd looking to secure an arm triangle but Greene defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kidd looking to finish Greene with some ground and pound. This is bad for Greene! Kidd has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Greene is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Kidd controlling the position easily from mount. Greene tries to hold on but Kidd pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Greene is desperately trying to improve his position but Kidd has a good base and remains in mount. Kidd takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kidd is continuing to stall. Kidd is in the full mount, landing strikes. Greene tries to improve his position but instead Kidd has taken his back! Kidd has good solid back control here. Kidd is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Greene has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Kidd has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Greene taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Kidd doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jarod Kidd! Jarod Kidd decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
