The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Levert dives in and scores a takedown into Joyce's guard.
Levert with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Levert throws a strike but Joyce rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Levert pushes a forearm under Joyce's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Joyce is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
